You Never Let Go

Hello again my friends!

I hope that you are all having a good week so far!

But just incase you aren’t, I have a song for you. 🙂

No matter who you are or where you are from, you cannot deny that we all desire to be apart of something bigger. We want to feel like someone important to someone else. We want to be treated like we are special and worthy of something greater than what we have. This desire is in us from the very day we are born. As babies we were satisfied by our parents and treated like a great treasure… and we still are, but somewhere along the lines, we begin to think that that isn’t enough. It is great, but it’s not enough. Then maybe we obtain amazing friends. And although friendship can be truly a rewarding thing, we begin to realize it’s not enough. Say you are in a relationship with someone very special to you and you believe that that person is the one.  A relationship like that can miraculously be the most amazing thing you have ever experienced. But, I have a sneaky suspicion that deep down, deeper than you ever dare dreamed, it is not enough. The truth is our hunger is endless and cannot be quenched by these earthly things.

What is one of the most amazing things to consider about our God is that He has the ability to reach into your heart deeper than anything that this world has to offer and He can fill it with the most beautiful, the most amazing, unending things. And not just any old thing but endless love, overwhelming peace, and boundless patience, and loving kindness, unwavering goodness, unfailing faithfulness, life giving gentleness and unbreakable self control. He can transcend and transform your very sin nature and turn it into something beautiful. He can satisfy any need! Quench any thirst! And on top of all that… He will never let us go. What a God to be praised and adored! To find refuge in! To lean on! To depend on! This is our God, our father, creator.

Consider this last thing as well my friends… He will not reach in and satisfy until you step up and open your heart to Him. Just like how a friend doesn’t become a friend until you are a friend, or a person doesn’t become your spouse until open up your heart. Our father does not force you to do anything but rather waits patiently for you to come. Isn’t that better anyway?

Be Blessed my friends.

Sing Forever

My Friends!

I hope you are all having a great week.

Check out this song! 🙂

Our life, in essence is a life of ceaseless worship. We are continuously doing something for someone or something. Whether it’s money, friendships, gaining knowledge, etc, we will our lives for these things. Furthermore,  whether we like it or not, we will always be in service of one of these “masters”. I guess the next logical step would be to consider for yourself… what master am I serving?

Well, The bible makes it clear that life is full of choices that we make. And every decision has a motivation behind it and a consequence before it. The bible also makes it super easy for us in distinguishing what categories our choices fall under. That would be either sin and righteousness, right or wrong.  Amazingly, when choosing righteousness by the grace of God, He promises us life and life abundant. He promises a life of purpose, a life of hope and endless love. A life where we can be safe forever and life that will continue on forever into eternity with Him after this life on earth ends.

When I hear this song, I think of the way my life should be on earth. A life a worshiping and loving the King, our Master and our Father. A life of complete and utter surrender to A God who gives us FREEDOM from sin and death! We, as sons and daughters in Christ, have the ability to catch a glimpse of heaven each an every single time we walk in surrender with Jesus!  We can sing praises that He so richly deserves and we can experience life the way it should be… to the fullest!! And it all starts today! It all starts now. And however great this life can get, it is a shadow compared to what truly awaits us.

Truly we have been given a reason to sing forever. Will you sing? Will you surrender?

Be blessed my friends.

Good Tuesday my friends!

Welcome back!  Let’s  jump right in, check out this song!

For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.” – 1 Peter 2:6

What a beautiful promise the Lord has given to us! No matter what we face, no matter the opposition, no matter what decisions we have to make, with Christ as the cornerstone of anything we do, we will not be put to shame!! WHAT! Likewise, without Him set as a primary foundation, what ever we do will fall apart. What ever we try to build for our own Glory will come crashing down.  Furthermore, if He is not set as our cornerstone, He becomes a stumbling block and a rock of offense. There is no escaping Him! In the end, it is all because of Jesus. Every knee WILL bow and every tongue WILL confess that He is Lord. He has always been and will be Lord. We can try to live this life trying to ignore that or we can rise up and humble ourselves before Him. Making Him our cornerstone, making Him the motivation for every decision, making Him the passion by which we live and move and breath. It’s black and white my friends. You are for Him or you are against Him. Take heart my friends! Commit what ever it is you are facing to the Lord. Let Him be your cornerstone in that area of your life. You will not put to your shame, for your faith is in the Lord Almighty, the creator of heaven and earth, the lover of your soul, the author of salvation, the warrior victorious, your abba.

Stay strong and give it up to Jesus.

Have a blessed week my friends.

Hello my friends!

What a wonderful day it is today!

Check out this song we are going to sing. It’s an oldie but a goodie. 🙂

God is so great and far above anything we can understand. All creation shouts His praise. The oceans, the mountains, the stars in the sky, everything on this earth is a testament to who He is. They bring praise to Him who is awesome without saying a word. Isn’t that crazy? Have you every thought about that? How does a sunset bring God glory? What exactly does it take for something or someone to give God the Glory?

I submit to you that if what ever God created functions exactly how it was supposed to, it brings Him glory. If it doesn’t, it ceases to glorify God.  For instance, if a tree ceases to do everything a tree does (provide shade, produce oxygen, produce fruit, etc.) it is no longer a tree that we come to understand. Its purposeless, it has no reason why it exists. It dies. It ceases to bring Him Glory because it doesn’t function the way God intended it to function. But trees can’t choose to not function the way it was supposed to right? That would be ludicrous; to go against it’s own creator and do what ever it wanted. Good thing tree’s don’t have their own will. I rather like apples.

But you know who does have the ability to choose?

You guessed it… you! My friends, we have the God given capability to refuse to  join creation and worship God. We can do our own thing. We can refuse to operate against the function in which we where created. We can make our own decisions and in turn live our own life! …But all that comes with a heavy price, a wage of death. Think about it, what a miserable life it is to go against everything you where created for. Making that choice leads to a life of sadness, meaningless, hopeless, loveless, etc, etc.

Where are you today? What are you doing that is bringing God glory and in turn bring you to life? What is it that you are not doing and in turning bringing about death?

Just thoughts to ponder. I can’t wait to sing this song with you all and bring Him glory!

I love you all. Peace.
