This Is Amazing Grace

Hello my friends!

What a great night of worship we had this past Sunday. The band and I were tremendously blessed by all of you! Thank you all for coming out!

Now… its back to your regularly scheduled program! ūüėõ

We don’t have a new song for you this week, but check out this lovely piece of¬†eartreats!

This song has got to be in my top ten favorite worship songs of all time. “This Is Amazing Grace” expreses the core of our beliefs, the core of who we are and the core of what God is. ¬†It brings to clear focus all that lies before us and assures us that our past is the past. We are a a new creation that sings a new song! And it is Jesus that stands at the forefront of that belief. When I sing this song I can’t help but feel¬†grateful¬†to a God that would¬†sacrifice¬†His BEST for me, the WORST. I am incredibly humbled when I think about these things and maybe, just maybe, that right where God’s wants us.

Be Blessed My Friends!

“So if the Son sets you free,¬†you will be free indeed.”John8:36

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.” – Ephesians2:8-9

I Am In Love With You

Hello again!

Well my friends, this sunday is Resonate’s worship night! The band and I have been working on the song lineup and we are excited to share them with you. And here is another new song we will be playing this week! Enjoy!

There are all kinds of songs out there that can be played for a service; some worshipful, some praising the Lord, some thanking the Lord. Some songs that people can easily sing. And some that just celebrate what we have in Christ. And this is one of those songs for me. When I hear this song or sing it, I can’t help but smile about what freedom I have in Christ, what love He has showed me. No longer do my sins condemn me, no longer am I hopeless. I am free. And its this freedom that allows me to experience daily the Lord’s mercies, His graces and His wisdom. And I can take comfort in the fact that this life is¬†minuscule compared to eternity in perfection in heaven that is promised to me through Jesus Christ. This song reminds me and gives me a glimpse of what truly is important and what I truly have as a son of God. I hope you¬†experience¬†this peace and joy as well my brothers and sisters!

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”Romans 8:1

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”Romans 15:13

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,¬†we¬†have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also¬†obtained access by faith¬†into this grace¬†in which we stand, and¬†we¬†rejoice¬†in hope of the glory of God.”Romans5:1-2

Come To The Water

Hello my friends!

So today… ¬†this blog is a super duper special blog.

Mostly because we have a couple of announcements to make.

One being that we will have a guest band coming in this Sunday. Yay!!

Secondly ¬†we have and upcoming…..

Come join us for this opportunity to gather as brothers and sisters and just sing out to God! We are super excited to worship the Lord with you guys through music for this extended time! You are all such encouragements to us on the praise team and we can’t think of any place better to sing out than Resonate College Ministry.

Here is a preview of one of the new songs we will be doing for the night. Check it out.

I love that this song is call to worship. A call to come and experience the God of our salvation. A call to lift Him up and enter the courts of His kingdom freely!! Establishing this kindgom on earth is the hope for our generation. And what a better way than to sing this on a worship night. To ask God come and stir up a revival in our hearts. So that we, as echoes of His Glory, go out and proclaim the Gospel to our friends, family, co-workers, strangers, and acquaintances. I hope that this coming worship night would be a special night for you. I hope that it would be a night of stoking the fire in your heart for Jesus. I hope you are looking forward to this, because Jesus is looking forward to worshiping the Father with you.

Be Blessed Everyone!

Hope’s Anthem

Hello again my friends!

I hope you are all being blessed this blog and the songs that we choose for service.

And I pray that this particular song would do just that for you!

Check it out!

Hope is a wonderful awe-inspiring thing. It is a weapon on which we, as sons and daughters of christ, can pierce the darkness that likes to surround itself around ¬†us. It is a key that unlocks any door, it is a compass that leads us straight and true. It is our motivation, our salvation, our strength in weakness. Singing a song that reminds us of these things can be very powerful and also is very¬†necessary. We all have trials, fears, worries, concerns and obstacles to overcome. In fact, this is a part of the life we live. We WILL have to go though such times. I think our natural reaction to these circumstances is why… Why would God do this to me?? But that is a most dangerous perspective. By taking on that perspective we lose sight of hope. We lose sight of the very thing that will help us! That will pull us through. We turn God into the enemy when he is truly our faithful friend. Thinking this is exactly what Satan wants you to think. He wants you to stumble in the darkness with NO HOPE and he wants you to stay there! Don’t let that happen! Don’t let your mind fall into this perverse backwards thinking. Look to Jesus! Look to hope! Sing loud from the top of your lungs that Hope is on your side! Hope is what will pull you through! Your hope is in Christ Jesus who has overcome the world!! This hope is on your side.

Man! I can’t wait to sing this song with you all!

Be Blessed

“You will be secure, because there is hope;¬†you will look about you and take your rest in safety.” –¬†Job11:18

“We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.” –¬†Psalm 33:20

” I have said these things to you, that¬†in me you may have peace.¬†In the world you will have¬†tribulation. But¬†take heart;¬†I have overcome the world.‚ÄĚ – John16:33

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” –Romans 5:5
